Somatic Experiencing is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Peter Levine that focuses on the body’s sensations to help individuals process and heal from trauma. Built on the understanding that trauma is not just stored in the mind, but also in the body, somatic experiencing works by helping people become more aware of physical sensations, like tension or discomfort, and guiding them to release stored trauma.

The practice involves tracking bodily sensations in real time, while helping individuals complete incomplete physiological responses to stress or trauma (like fight, flight, or freeze). This process allows the nervous system to find balance and allows the body to process and release trauma in a natural way. It’s often used to treat PTSD, anxiety, and other stress-related conditions.

His approach helps individuals break through barriers and unlock a deeper, more authentic version of themselves. By integrating somatic psychotherapy techniques, Brandon supports healing, allowing individuals to tune into and experience a profound sense of aliveness.
